Childhood Neighborhood Story

In our front yard at my childhood home, there were three sororo cacti. There was a tall one, a medium-height one, and a shorter one. I have an older brother and a younger sister, so we “assigned” each cactus to each of us; My brother got the tall one because he is the oldest, I got the medium-height one because I am the middle child, and my younger sister got the shortest one because she is the youngest. If it were up to us today, I definitely would get the shortest one, because even my youngest sister is taller than me. This is also how we decided which kid got to decorate which cactus for holidays such as Halloween with spider webs and Christmas with string lights.
